After many years of suffering from debilitating symptoms of IBS, multiple food allergies & intolerances, skin problems, Raynaud's & hypothyroidism, I sought the help of a nutritional therapist. In time, I found I was able to add foods to my limited list, thus giving me a more varied and healthy food plan, to follow. This triggered a desire to learn more and so I enrolled on the ION Nutritional Therapy Diploma Course NTDC.

I hold the Dip ION diploma having completed the [degree equivalent], Nutritional Therapy Diploma Course [NTDC] at the prestigious Institute for Optimum Nutrition [ION] in London. This course is fully accredited by The Nutritional Therapy Education Commission [NTEC], recognising the academic integrity and rigour of the curriculum and gravitas of the diploma qualification. This ensures an up-to-date knowledge, alongside rigorous clinical training, to form the necessary basis for a safe and effective, registered nutritional therapist with the very highest professional standards.
Some nutritional courses are only one hundred hours long, or less!

ION is one of the most respected training bodies in the U.K.

I hold the Nutritional Therapy Certificate of Competence [Certified - NTCC]

ION registered, nutritional therapists, are trained to recognise, when it's necessary, or beneficial, to refer a client back to their GP, or another health practitioner.

“I went to see Helen having struggled with my weight and health for years. I'd been backwards and forwards to the doctors, crying for help, who blamed my genetics for weight gain.

“Helen helped me in a short amount of time, and helped me learn, how to get my thyroid balanced and my weight finally under control, after 8 years of post natal weight gain. I needed a huge personal commitment, but I finally found someone, who could and would listen. After the wonderful advice I received, with further reading, I feel 110% better today, than I did then, and all without the antidepressants my doctor wanted to prescribe! You are what you eat!”
